Take a look at some of the generous donations we've received from our patrons
As well as our patrons making generous financial donations to the centre, we also have lots of support with material donations from local organisations.
Barnfield Construction
Every year in July, we host our annual awards evening to recognise the hard work of our learners, which Barnfield Construction kindly sponsor. This helps us to make the evening the best it can be. Barnfield also make regular material donations to the centre.
Bell Group
To help deliver our painting and decorating courses, Bell Group kindly donated paint for our learners to use. They've also taken on a former PVC student as an apprentice.
Conlon Construction
A long-standing patron of ours, Conlon support the running of PVC by making generous cash donations each year and run joint events with us.
I&R Demolition Ltd
We have had lots of material donations from I&R Demolition, including copper, electrical cable and scrap materials from construction demolitions.
ISG Ltd
ISG have generously donated lots of material to support our course delivery, including packs of tiles and adhesive, copper pipe, a mixture of copper fittings and timber.
JFN Integrated Solutions
Electrical Contractors, JFN Integrated Solutions, have kindly provided PVC with upgraded fire and security equipment to help keep our learners safe. They also offer a number of PVC graduates apprenticeship opportunities every year, giving them a great first step on their career path. Director Chris Keeney sits on our Board of Trustees and JFN are proud sponsors of our annual student awards.
Keepmoat
Keepmoat have worked with us to deliver NEET programmes during the summer holidays to support children in learning new skills. They funded the entire course, including organising site visits and completion awards.
Persimmon Homes
The team at Persimmon Homes has gone above and beyond with their support for us. As well as cash donations to help run the Centre, they have donated block and timber, run interview coaching for all students and taken on apprentices from PVC.
Seddon
Seddon have provided PVC with both financial support and material donations. These material donations are used in lessons across the centre.
Sika Technology
In addition to cash and material donations, Sika have supported the learners at PVC by running training days, further helping them improve their skills and gain experience for their CVs.
Warburtons
Making sure you're starting the day on a full stomach is really important, especially when doing manual work. Warburtons understand this, and for over 10 years have donated loaves of bread weekly, which keep students fed every morning.
Xacom
Xacom Project Controls are passionate supporters of PVC, sponsoring our student awards every year. Director Mick Higgins plays a very active role, having been Chair of our Board since 2021. Xacom’s support helps guide the organisation from strength to strength, giving learners the best possible opportunities.
